Registration is required for this new season (so, if student registered in the fall for esports, and is participating again this season, student must go into their registration as a "returning user" to update info and register for this winter season of 2025).

Also, if student was registered for esports in the fall, they do not have to pay the $200 athletic fee again.

If student is signing up for esports for the first time this winter season, $200 athletic fee is required before participation on Jan. 27!

Advice from a parent of many multi-season athletes...."PLEASE.....

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE OFFICIAL START DATE TO REGISTER....

WAITING COULD DELAY YOUR ATHLETES PARTICIPATION" :*(

**********************************************

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school/athletic year!

Registration for Elizabeth High School athletes involves steps I-III below. Athlete must be registered and "cleared" by first official start date (see above).

Athlete/Parent will know they are "cleared" when they receive an e-mail indicating they have been cleared for their sport.

**ALL ATHLETES MUST REGISTER FOR EACH AND EVERY SEASON THEY PARTICIPATE IN.**

FOR EXAMPLE....If you were an EHS FALL ATHLETE this past fall, and you plan to do a SPRING SPORT, you will have to register as a "RETURNING USER" for the SPRING 2025 SEASON!

IF you are a "RETURNING USER" and your physical is still valid, the system will recognize it.  HOWEVER, to be considered "registered" for a SPRING sport, you must update any changed information (such as your address or phone number - if applicable) in your registration, AND, sign off on all the waivers again for the new season. smiley laugh

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE.... Athletes that register, but their physical expires before the official start date of the season (Feb. 24), will not be cleared to participate until an updated physical has been uploaded to their registration, or brought to the athletic office.

To register, please read all of section I, II and III.  The "registration link" is found at the bottom of the page after section III

IF, you/your student is new to EHS but is not an "incoming 9th grader," you must also read section III below.

I.   Physical Examinations –NEW REQUIRED CHSAA FORM FOR 2024-25 STARTING 6/1/2024 SPORTS PHYSICAL/PREPARTICIPATION PHYSICAL EXAMINATION (PPE)FORM (click form name in order to print a copy to take to the doctor).

If you do not have a current physical you must take the provided PPE form (see above) to your doctor for completion.  Once the doctor has filled out his portion, you and your guardian must complete your respective sections. After the physical is finalized, only page 4 of the physical, needs to be uploaded to your registration, or brought to the EHS athletic office before the official start date of the sports* season (*physical is not required for e-sports)

Please be sure parent and athlete have signed in all appropriate places.  (Upload page 4 of CHSAA physical once you are within the registration page and on "Step 4:Physical Forms").

          IMPORTANT:        IMPORTANT:          IMPORTANT:        IMPORTANT:

  • Be sure the doctor signs and writes the date of the exam on page 4 of the physical!
  • Be sure the student signs and writes the date on page 4 of the physical!
  • Be sure the parent signs and writes the date on page 4 of the physical!
  • The only form that needs to be uploaded to the registration is page

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS WITH REGARDS TO PHYSICALS:

* So...How long are physicals good for?

*How will I know when my student's physical expires?

*When is a new physical needed to be uploaded? What happens if a new physical can't be gotten by expiration date?

II.   An athletic fee of $200* is required to participate in a sport.  This fee will be added to the student's account after the first week of the season (typically after tryouts are completed for those teams that have them)/within first week of of the season, and, must be paid before participation in any event.

^^Fees can be paid by credit card (with an additonal convenience fee) through "My School Bucks " (see the link in "Quick Links" section of this page) if you are an enrolled student at EHS. Alternatively, the fee can be paid by check at the EHS Athletic Office (no additional fee added).  When paying by check, ensure the parent/guardian's driver's license number is written on the check, along with the athlete's name and sport in the memo section.

^^Fees for homeschooled or other school athletes cannot pay through "My School Bucks."  Athlete/or family member must pay by cash or check at the EHS Athletic window during school hours

Fee must be paid by first athletic event.

* What if I have qualified for Free/Reduced Fees?  What if I am unable to pay?

All steps above must be completed in order to be cleared for your sport.

III.  If your student does NOT attend EHS and takes his/her academics at another school, or is homeschooled, continue to the registration page and be sure to fill out Section A or B as it applies to your athlete.

If your student is new to EHS but began their 9-12th grade academics at another high school/or, in another country, they would be classified as one of the following:

  • A TRANSFER STUDENT - According to the Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA ), a "transfer student" is any high school student who changes schools." If this applies to your student, you and your student must meet/talk with our Athletic Director - John Everhart before participating in any sport at EHS, as CHSAA transfer paperwork may need to be completed.  His contact information is provided below.
  • A FOREIGN EXCHANGE/INTERNATIONAL STUDENT - If your student is attending EHS for 2024-2025 school year as a foreign exchange or international student, they may also be considered a "transfer student." In this case, you and your student must meet/talk with our Athletic Director - John Everhart before participating in any sport at EHS, as CHSAA transfer paperwork may need to be completed. His contact information is provided below.
