Welcome to the 2024 school/athletic year! It's been an exciting year!

Registration for Elizabeth High School athletes involves steps I-III below. Athlete must be "cleared" by first official start date (see below).  Athlete/Parent will know they are "cleared" when they receive an e-mail indicating they have been cleared for their sport.

If an athlete is a homeschool student, or takes their academic classes outside of EHS, see requirements below under Homeschool Registration Requirements (after step III), or see OTHER ATHLETES below for important info needed..

ALL ATHLETES MUST REGISTER FOR ANY SEASON THEY PARTICIPATE IN.  FOR EXAMPLE....IF YOU WERE A FALL ATHLETE, AND YOU PLAN TO DO A SPRING SPORT, YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER AS A "RETURNING USER" FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEASON!.

IF you are a "RETURNING USER" and your physical is still current, the system knows it, BUT, you have to go in and sign off on all the waivers again for THIS new season. :) :)

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE.... Athletes that register, but their physical expires before official start date of the season will not be cleared to participate until an updated physical has been loaded to their registration.

I.    To register, please read all of section I, II and III.  The "registration link" is found at the bottom of the page after
       section III
.

II.   Physical Examinations – PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AND PARENT PERMIT FOR ATHLETIC
      PARTICIPATION
(click form name in order to print a copy to take to the doctor).

A current physical must be completed and uploaded prior to the official start date of the sports* practice/tryouts. (*physical is not required for e-sports)

Please be sure parent and athlete have signed in all appropriate places.  To upload: see "Step 4:Physical
Forms" on the online registration form

IMPORTANT - Doctor must sign and write the date the exam took place, and, write the date the form was filled
out (sometimes these two dates differ).

Physicals are valid for 12 months (365 days) from the date of the last exam and must not expire before the
official start of the season (see above official start dates).

(Note:  it is the parent/students responsibility to know when the athletes physical expires and plan accordingly to replace expired physical the day after expiration.  If physical expires during athletes sport season, athlete will not be allowed to participate further until a new physical has been brought in- due the next business day before traveling to an event, or by end of school day.)

All steps above must be completed in order to be cleared for your sport.

You will know you have been cleared when you have received an e-mail stating that you are cleared for your sport.

III.   Once athlete has made the team, there is an athletic fee of $200* required to play a sport.  This fee must be paid on either SchoolPay or brought to the school.

For most sports fee is posted after tryouts and paid once athlete has made a team. Fees can be paid by credit card (convenience fee added) through "PaySchoolsCentral" (see link in "Quick Links" of this page) but only if you are an enrolled student at EHS. Or, fee can be paid by check at the EHS Athletic Office. If you bring a check (no fee added) to the Athletic Office, be sure parent/guardian have written their driver's license number on the check, and written athletes name and sport in the memo area of the check.

       *   If an athlete qualified for Free/Reduced fees, parent must supply a copy of your 2023-2024 approval letter to                  Ms. Seale in the Athletic Office to have fee waived.
            IMPORTANT:
Ms. Seale cannot access student's Free and Reduced information per
The Family Educational Rights                  and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.  Therefore,                    student/family must submit an official copy of their official letter received from our ESD at time of                                      payment/registration for athletics.

       *   Athletic Fees can be waived by the athletic director.  Guardian must discuss with John Everhart
